It encloses the internal components (stator, rotor, bearings, etc.) within the box, while providing support, heat dissipation, and protection functions. It is the preferred form of base for industrial large motors and motors under special working conditions.

- Square/Rhombic Cross-section: Formed by welding steel plates or section steel into a six-sided frame, providing a stable load-bearing structure with strong lateral stability
- Modular Design: Mostly adopts detachable structure, facilitating transportation and installation, and allowing for local disassembly during maintenance
- Reinforcement Rib Configuration: Internal configuration of horizontal, vertical, or inclined reinforcing ribs to significantly enhance overall stiffness and resistance to deformation
